Hannah & Ash’s wedding day incorporated a church ceremony as well as a reception at the gorgeous venue of Halstead House, one of my top places to shoot as a vintage style wedding photographer in Leicester. The day started out at Hannah’s parent’s house in Ratcliffe on the Wreak, Leicestershire, where the girls were getting ready. Hannah looked totally stunning in her timeless dress, as did all of the bridesmaids who were wearing mint blue gowns. The church pretty much right next door to Hannah’s parent’s house so we walked up and met the vicar there. The vicar was lovely and didn’t mind me snapping away during the ceremony, which ensured that all of the little moments were caught for Hannah & Ash to enjoy – I especially love the shots which feature the large stained glass windows, giving a sense of scale of the building!
After the ceremony we moved on to Halstead House, one of my favorite wedding venues as a Leicestershire wedding photographer, due to the gorgeous grounds, which feature a lily pond and give huge opportunity for beautiful wedding photography shots. The couple and I took a short circular walk around the grounds, which took us up to the time I was due to finish my time with them!
