We’ve been officially shortlisted for the BrideBook Wedding Awards 2017!

Best Wedding Photographer Midlands UK BrideBook Wedding AwardsI’m thrilled to announce that Josie Parr Photography has been officially shortlisted for the BrideBook wedding awards 2017!

Over 180,000 votes were cast to choose the Shortlist from over 70,000 entrants. With 40,000 engaged couples planning their weddings on Bridebook.co.uk, the Awards provide nationwide recognition to the best of the wedding industry. The winners will be announced on the 1st of March.

Being shortlisted for this award is an amazing accolade for my business, which I started in 2009, aged 19. In 2015 and 2016 I was voted as one of Leicester’s top photographers by ThreeBestRated.com, which was I was really happy about, however to be shortlisted for a national award is even better. I think that my documentary approach to wedding photography, capturing the day’s events as they naturally unfold without being intrusive at all, has helped me to stand out from the crowd as it shows in my photographs, which are candid and natural.

“The Bridebook.co.uk Wedding Awards recognises the cream of the crop when it comes to venues and suppliers. This is a wonderful opportunity for local wedding businesses across the nation to gain the recognition and merit they deserve for their commitment and exemplary service to their couples, both past and present.” Hamish Shephard, Founder and CEO of Bridebook.co.uk. Bridebook.co.uk is the online wedding planning platform that is revolutionising the wedding industry. Designed for the modern couple, with advanced planning tools and the U.K.’s largest supplier directory all in one place, Bridebook.co.uk is already helping 1 in 8 U.K. brides plan their weddings.
The Finalists, Highly Commended and Winners in each category will be announced on March 1st. These suppliers will be chosen by Bridebook experts as well as some of our prestigious partners and industry experts. Though voting has now closed, your vote count from the Shortlist will still count towards the final judging alongside your Bridebook profile and testimonials.
